So we were busy dying of heat when we got home from church, but we sat down for a snack lunch. And somehow Joshua can just make any situation a happy one!
We shared some of our food with him, and at one point I gave him a slice of cheese, but for some reason he didn't take it from me, so I put it on his hand. He gave me the strangest look! It was a complete mixture of wanting to laugh, but actually being a bit concerned about what this was... Anyway, it was all good fun. But just watch that piece of cheese and where all it travelled... He did eventually get it in his mouth.
Later in the afternoon we just didn't know what to do for the heat, so we decided to go for a drive, to enjoy the air conditioning, and hopefully Joshua would also sleep. We took a drive past Tyger Valley, and then the back roads home through the Durbanville Wine Valley. Very pretty!
