Josh decided that we should have family home
evening on Sunday evening. And he did a lesson, asking us all sorts of
questions about prayer, then we sang If the Saviour stood beside me, and he
sang just about everything, and then he wanted pictures to colour in. For his
first home evening he "ran" I think it was very great!
Josh coloured in a dolphin at school, and he
drew an extra fin. So he tells me this is an expensive dolphin because it has
an extra fin. Interesting how he has some sense of value!
When I came through to say hello to Josh one
morning he told me, no kisses! You can only hug me. Who says he's allowed to
grow up so quickly!?! Apparently Dane also says this to his mom…
Josh and Hannah were talking about getting
married and Josh's response was "I'm going to marry one of the girls from
my school, they are all beautiful"
After we were doing scripture reading we
were talking about feeling the spirit, and Josh felt his neck and said it was
warm and he could feel it. Then he wanted to know about all the rest of us, and
Hannah's response was "Mine feels squashed"
After taking a while to settle into his squad he now really enjoys swimming with James especially, and he'll also play with him in the water, which is great!
Very important work!Josh went to a birthday party and an older sister was using face paint to paint on the kids hands, and Angry Birds was very popular!
Spelling out his name with stickers on his arm
He wanted his sandwich covered, and this was his idea.
Races with Dane and Connor
Very cool hair!
A different way to get dressed...
Josh loves mapbooks! Sounds like me though...
Josh gave an oral at school about dolphins, and this was the poster we made to help him know what to talk about. His teacher says he did great!
Hannah also wanted to make a poster then, so Josh drew dolphins for her to stick onto her own poster.
Hannah's teacher even stuck her poster on the door of her class!
From Joshua's teacher for doing such a great oral!
Josh drew this map, and it amazed me to see the details he put in, and this was all his design!
During stake conference Joshua drew this, and it reminded me immediately of a picture in one of his favourite books, Edward built a rocket ship...
A dragon
A night fury dragon
Mom and Dad getting married in the temple
Yes, that is a shark eating a small fish...
The photo is upside down, but a car crossing a bridge
A whale
A lava-fall (as opposed to a waterfall)
The bad snake made the good snake fall down... You can see the awareness growing of good and evil. Thankfully he does generally want the good to win :)
A dragon from How to Train your Dragon, with stakes on the ground below it.
Swordfish
The big dragon with 3 eyes on each side from How to Train your Dragon (any guesses what his favourite movie is right now!)
The video is mainly Joshua's Action Ball demonstration
