We're not really sure if it's allowed (but no one stopped us... so I presume it's okay) but Joshua took his motor bike with. He LOVED riding it into the garden!
We found a nice place to sit, pretty much alone, and there was a nice slope for Joshua to be able to run up and then throw or kick his ball down before running down afterwards. He did this over and over and over again... And poor Andrew had to be running up just about every time as well!
It doesn't show up that well, but when they were at the top Joshua would look up at Daddy with this very expectant and happy smile and then they'd count and then run down together. It was so cute!
At one point a family of guinea fowl came past, so we had to convince Joshua to come away from them before the parents got aggressive...
Amazing how they all do exactly the same things right from chicks!
Phew! Some rest!
But Joshua won't let you completely relax!
Very intent on something to do with the grass...
I love the way Joshua carries a ball under one arm. It seems this is also something that boys just instinctively know how to do...
And then he decided again that Daddy had to get up and play some more. This turned into a very insistent pulling of his hand to get him to get up. I'm very glad I was able to have an excuse to just sit and relax ;o)
A really nice way to spend the afternoon, and I was also able to just sit and reflect a bit on Easter in a beautiful setting, which was really nice.
