Easter

This year was Joshua's first real Easter that he was aware of. So we got to do an Easter egg hunt for his this morning. Very exciting! ;o)

Last night we set up the hunt with baby powder foot print going over the lounge. The Easter bunny came in the window and then hid the eggs. We only hid eggs in three places because of the short attention span...

But Joshua had fun when he saw it this morning!

I went around and helped him get the idea, but he liked finding the eggs!

This was a bunny with long marshmallow eggs. He thought it was fun to try and get it to walk.

I had to allow him to have one egg before church, and he knows exactly what to do with marshmallow eggs.

But he was willing to share the little chocolate bunnies with me ;o)

Until he realised that they were fun to play with. He had them hopping all over the table ;o)

So Joshua definitely enjoyed the fun side of Easter this year. Over the last couple of days we've been telling him the Easter story as his evening scripture story as well. So it will take a few years, but he'll come to understand. And in the mean time, the fun side of Easter is great!
