Joshua moments - July 2009

It has been quite a while... But I've been very busy with some needlework projects that I'm doing - several at the same time... But it has had me distracted. But here are some belated Joshua moments from July.
This whole thing of feeding himself is of course getting bigger... Strangely Joshua now lets me feed him, but there was a stage where he wouldn't have anything to do with me feeding him!
But who can resist this face?
We went to a baby shower and the host family had this dog. Joshua and the dog made great friends through the door. He was very eager to get outside!
We let Joshua draw on this chalkboard, and he does quite well when he isn't trying to eat the chalk!
Ooh, the effort!
We discovered this AMAZING book store! It has an amazing selection, at really great prices. And then there's this upstairs section which is all kids books. I fell in love!
And they are all very welcoming to little kids. They even have this play pen set up, which Joshua was very keen to try out ;o)
Playing with Daddy...
Joshua just loves lying with his legs sprawled out like this! He is SO often like this!
And another favourite thing is touching his tummy. He's also getting very good at pointing at his body parts. And you can say "Where's your nose? Where's Mommy's nose? Where's Daddy's nose? Where's the bear's nose?" And he'll point at all the right noses! But every time his shirt comes off he rubs his tummy.
And this new shirt we got him for church made him feel really smart, I think ;o)
Bathtime remains a major favourite.
I just registered myself and Joshua with a casting agency, and this is the photo I sent in for Joshua (cropped more than here) Isn't he just SO beautiful!
I found Joshua paging through a copy of the Book of Mormon that we keep in the bathroom...
Debbie's family love to mess with Joshua's hair. I've fetched him a few times now with his hair all standing up like this!
So that's my boy... I'll try and post the August photo's a bit earlier than I've got to these July ones.
