My last day...

Well, the time has come. And I sit here with mixed feelings...

This is the last time that I will do any posts on this computer, sitting in this building, with these people surrounding me... And there is certainly a small degree of sadness at what I'm leaving behind. But don't get me wrong - I'm going to something where I am going to be SO much happier! So the sad feelings are pretty restrained, and mainly it's probably a bit of apprehension at starting something new. Although I've worked at UCT before, I'll now be there as a full lecturer, and so it will be slightly different. But I'm still very excited.

But despite that I have to say that I am very grateful to PwC for the experience that I've gained here. I feel that in a very short time there has been so much growth and development, and I do feel that I'd be able to take on just about anything that I wanted to. But I'm so glad that my articles are over! I never have to audit again!!!

So that's my story. I've got lots to update you all on, but I'll have to see if I have time this weekend... Things are a bit hectic at the moment, but hopefully it will all settle down soon!
