And just to demonstrate how grown up she's getting...
She's started trying to put shapes into a shape sorter. She's far from getting it right every time, but she does get a few in, and she's getting the concept.
She's been watching her big brother too much, and she's decided that she should be able to climb out of the bath just like him. So she'll stand up and lift her leg to try and get it over the side. She nearly gets it up there too! Sometimes she'll just sit there though and put her arms out to ask to come out. Depends on her mood...
Her climbing around has now extended to climbing onto our toy box and onto small chairs.
She'll also trying to put her own shoes on. And she does way too well at taking her shoes off!
And what a drama queen! I spoke about that manipulative crying last month... Well just to prove it, she's able to just turn the tears on and off again if she doesn't get what she wants!
If we stand at the window to say goodbye to Andrew in the morning she'll no start waving even if we don't actually say goodbye.
She still just has this completely involuntary response to music. It's like she really can't help herself, and she'll start dancing!
She's now got 8 teeth, 4 at the top, and 4 at the bottom. They're all about the same length, and it looks like a nice neat little mouth ;o)
She likes her soft toys. She'll often just give a doll or soft toy a hug. And we'd often see her carrying around the small Barney. Everywhere she went... And she's also started pushing this small doll's pram that Grammy gave her. She likes the doll to be sitting nicely, and then she'll go all over!
If I'm busy working with a bottle she'll often grab the bottle top and want to put it on herself.
She's a real little babbler. We'll hear a constant stream of sounds, but some of the sounds we can now differentiate are we, ma, bo.
She likes to try and brush her own hair. Doesn't always get the brush the right way around, but she's trying! She'll also use her toothbrush pretty well on her own, and she's starting to try and feed herself with her spoon. And she knows how sunglasses are supposed to go! If my face goes too close to her hands when we're outside I'll almost always lose my sunglasses to those quick hands!
What happened quite a few times was if she wanted something off a high shelf she would come and fetch Andrew and pull him to the shelf and show what she wanted.
We've got a mirror stuck to our cupboard, but the bottom is just too high for Hannah to see herself in. But she's started standing on her toes to be able to see herself in the mirror. So soon though she'll be tall enough to just stand!
She's got a face that is just chockful of character! Some of the funny expressions we see:
Reading the George story
Playing Mommy
Always happy!
Birthday!
With her two Powrie uncles
The birthday party!
Her new tracksuit from Grammy
The cousins! (who didn't plan to all wear red, but look at how beautiful they all look!)Showing what a big girl she is riding the car...
