Well, in general I think he's handled it really well! There have been some tantrums, although at the age of 2 that isn't unusual anyway. But he is really excited about little "Bubby Hammah".
When Andrew brought him to the hospital on the first Monday afternoon he had a very unsure look on his face as he came into my room. But after he saw me, and then got his first look at Hannah he became much more himself, and quite excited about everything.
And he has definitely decided that he likes to hold her.
Now that we're home it's been interesting to see his priorities change... When Andrew brings him home in the afternoon he isn't interested in saying hello to me - he just wants to go and see "Hammah"...
He even wants to share his toys with her! One of the mornings he brought some of his cars to our bed to play with, and he decided that she needed to have the helicopter.
A very proud and loving big brother! I hope that he carries on loving her and they get to be really close as they get older!
