Caleb likes to swim in the bath. Josh and Hannah say he
swims like a tadpole!
He's started calling me mammy instead of mama.
Wearing his pajama pants like a wig...
He is turning into an early riser like Andrew and Hannah.
But when they get older they will hopefully be able to keep each other company
so that Andrew can have some time to himself in the morning again. They play
together sometimes at this stage, but are still very demanding
His ball skills remind me of Josh - he has started kicking a
ball really nicely, and he throws overhand like all of my kids.
He pulls just about anything over his face to play
peekaboo with us.
I love kissing the bottom of his feet, although these days
I usually only do it after his bath. But when I was changing his nappy he
pulled his foot up and he was trying to kiss the bottom of his own feet!
Sometimes as he takes toys out of a box he'll kiss some of
them before putting them down, like toy ducks etc.
If there's a small space I'm going to try and get into it!
We told Hannah no more milk, but she still wanted more. So
Caleb takes her bottle, point so the kitchen and says very earnestly to me
More!
He can climb onto the dining room chairs by himself! There
aren't many places he can't get now!
Sitting like a big boy on Grandpa's chair.
Turning pages of a board book by lifting them all and
separating them with his thumbs.
He thought it was time for Hannah to finally start getting
dressed so he took her shoulder and tried to push her down to sit on the floor
so I could dress her. But he's often trying to help Hannah with whatever she's
needing to do, although she doesn't always appreciate his help!
Sometimes he'll just grab your face and give you a kiss.
When Caleb was hungry for breakfast he got out 2 bowls,
the pronutro and tried to get spoons. And he went to wake up Josh to come and
eat. Joshua's response to Andrew checking if he was awake, I'm awake but I
don't want to be.
Caleb will often pat your back if you're holding him, and
sometimes he also leans his head against you and cuddled while he's patting
your back. So cute!
I was singing for Josh at bedtime, and I picked up Caleb
briefly, and Caleb starts singing with me!
He went through a stage where he would put his hands behind his back and sway from side to side all cute! (See the video below as well)
Caleb decided that he didn't want to wait until he was 18 months to go to Nursery, and the Primary leaders agreed to let him come early. So this was one of his first artworks coming from Nursery.
