Do they ever stop getting cuter?
This son of mine is just so adorable - even when he's sick!
His talking still is still pretty slow in coming. He says "Mommy" really well, and it has so many meanings...
But his latest thing is turning the palms of his hands up and saying "Where?" If you ask him "Where is something", he'll just say "Where, where?". If he's actually asking where something is, it's "Where, where?" And it seems that almost any time he can hear a question in your voice he thinks the appropriate question is "Where?" And all with his hands turned up, and a bit of a shrug of the shoulders. So cute!
And he's also decided that he's going to fold his arms for prayers. So if he sees us folding our arms, then he also folds his. And he does it pretty well!
I don't think I've mentioned how he can point at all of his body parts... Hair, head, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, tummy, bum, arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes. And especially for the facial ones he'll also then want to point at Mommy's eyes and ears and nose... So he can't say just about any of these words, but he knows them all...
And then the news with Joshua is that he's going to be changing day moms from 1 October. Debbie can't look after him anymore for personal reasons, so he's going to the day mom that my mom used for my brothers and sisters, and I even went to her a bit in the holidays. Amazing how her services are now being used by another generation of Powrie's! So the new adventure with Aunty Wendy starts next week.
So that's my son. Wow, but I love him!
